Flyer Approval and Distribution

In the past, our school sent home loads of flyers in students’ backpacks. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we have moved from paper to a digital flyer delivery.
With our Peachjar e-flyer program, the e-flyers are sent directly to parents’ email inboxes as well as posted on school websites for easy access. All flyers may be accessed by clicking on the Peachjar link on each school's website.
Each year, our school will save paper and reduce copy costs by hundreds of dollars. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.
School and school district-approved e-flyers keep you informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events.

Information for Parents

PVUESD uses an electronic flyer distribution program called Peachjar.  Peachjar replaces paper flyers.  Through Peachjar, each school can send e-flyers to its families, and outside organizations can send approved e-flyers to all families in the district.  These e-flyers are also posted on each school’s website for at least one month.  Look for the Peachjar link on your school’s website and app.

If you provided your email address to your school on your student’s contact information form, a Peachjar account has been established for you, and you should have received an email from Peachjar with your login information.  This is provided so that you can manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to log in to receive or view e-flyers.  If you did not provide your email address and would like to receive Peachjar e-flyers, let your school office know to add your email address to the district contact form.

If you are not receiving emails from Peachjar, there are two possible reasons for this:

  • Your email address is not on file with your school.  Let your school office know to add your email address to the district contact form. You can also visit the FAQs below for other instructions on adding your email address to the Peachjar distribution list or resetting your password.
  • The Peachjar emails are going into your spam folder or you can't see the images in the email.  To prevent the e-flyers from going into your spam folder, add “” to your email contacts.  When you receive your first e-flyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
Peachjar is used exclusively for distribution of district- and school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

Information for Outside Organizations

Our district cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials by email via Peachjar to PVUESD teachers or parents. PVUESD includes Pope Valley and the Berryessa Estates area. PVUESD does NOT include Napa, St. Helena (exception: some homes in Pope Valley do have a St. Helena address and are reached), Calistoga, Angwin, Spanish Flats, Berryessa Pines, Berryessa Highlands, Capell Valley, or any other part of Napa County.

To use Peachjar, you must create an account for your organization. Click Here.

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below.  Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted on the Peachjar account on the homepage of the selected school(s).  Paper flyers from outside organizations will not be distributed to PVUESD parents or students.

  1. IMPORTANT:  Read the PVUESD Flyer Approval Policies in the next section below.

  2. Create your flyer and save in PDF format.

  3. Visit

  4. Register as an Enrichment Provider (account type)

  5. Upload your flyer for approval (file size must be smaller than 6 MB)

Your flyer will automatically be submitted to the district office.  District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the standards described below. Peachjar charges outside organizations a fee for this service that is typically less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.

If you would like to send information to PVUESD teachers, you can select "for District Staff" during your flyer uploading process.  Material sent to teachers should be information about possible student workshop or field trip opportunities, or availability of inexpensive or free quality classroom materials.  Flyers for teachers only are not required to include a Spanish translation.

All flyers to be distributed must:

  • Support the basic educational mission of the district, directly benefit the students, or be of intrinsic value to the students or their parents/guardians.

  • Be in PDF format and smaller than 6 MB.

  • Contain font sizes not less than size 12.

  • Contain the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.

  • Be submitted in both English and Spanish in the same document.  Flyers can have multiple pages, and you will only be charged for one flyer. Please provide an accurate translation-- be advised that Google Translate is not sufficient, and your flyer will not be approved if the translation is inaccurate.  See the sidebar on this webpage for information on translation services.

Peachjar will automatically add the following disclaimer in English and Spanish:

"DISCLAIMER: The activities, products, or services advertised in this flyer are not sponsored or endorsed by PVUESD.”

“DESCARGO DE RESPONSABILIDAD: Las actividades, productos o servicios publicitados en este folleto no están patrocinados ni respaldados por el PVUESD.”

Flyers will NOT be approved that:

  • Do not have a Spanish translation.

  • Are lewd, obscene, libelous, or slanderous.

  • Incite students to commit unlawful acts, violate school rules, or disrupt the orderly operation of the schools.

  • Promote any particular political interest, candidate, party, or ballot measure, unless the candidates or advocates from all sides are provided the opportunity to present their views to the students during school hours or during events scheduled pursuant to the Civic Center Act.

  • Proselytize religious beliefs

  • Position the district on any side of a controversial issue.

  • Discriminate against, attack or denigrate any group on account of gender, race, age, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability or other unlawful consideration.

  • Promote the use or sale of materials or services that are illegal or inconsistent with school objectives, including, but not limited to, materials or advertisements for tobacco, intoxicants, and movies or products unsuitable for children.

  • Solicit funds or services for an organization, with the exception of solicitations authorized in Board policy.

  • Do not meet the local need of students and parents.

If an organization wishes to provide paper flyers, the flyers must first be approval-stamped at the PVUESD Office.  The organization can then give copies of the stamped flyers to the school office, where they will be made available at or near the front counter.  No paper copies will be given to teachers or staff to distribute to students for taking home.

Posters from outside organizations to be mounted for display on school grounds must first be approved by the school's administration and each copy of the poster initialed.  Posters must have a Spanish translation and meet other requirements as above.

PVUESD requires all flyers to parents to be submitted in both English and Spanish. The following company has agreed to work with those wishing to send flyers to PVUESD students and parents. if you are looking for translation services:
