Pope Valley Pioneers Lace Up their Skates!

Last year, our Pioneers embarked on a sweet and icy adventure, tasting their favorite jelly-bean flavors at the Jelly Belly Factory, and skating at Snoopy’s Home Ice! Earlier this month, we headed back to the skating rink and spent a wonderful winter day out of the classroom and out of our comfort zones! Many of our students had the opportunity to try something new, and we enjoyed getting some energy out in a fun, community building activity.

At Pope Valley, our approach to education takes us to new opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. We believe that providing our students with new experiences helps foster a true love for lifelong learning. Even when students fell and didn’t get the hang of skating on their own, it was a great opportunity for them to learn perseverance and support their fellow classmates.

As winter starts to wind down, we look forward to entering the spring on a high note, as we continue to provide fun and engaging educational opportunities for our Pioneers.

See you at the next field trip!
