Flu season is here, and we need your help to keep our school family safe and healthy. The most important thing? If your student is feeling unwell and showing any symptoms, please keep them home. Together, we can prevent the spread of germs and reduce discrepancies in our school year.
Here’s some tips to keep our community well:
- Promote proper hand washing habits: Thorough hand washing is best way to prevent the spread of germs. Singing the “Happy Birthday” song while washing hands is just the right duration for a complete cleanse!
- Refraining from sharing: We all know sharing is caring but this is one of the most common ways to spread sickness. Ask your student to avoid sharing cups, straws, hats, and items that touch the face or mouth.
- Covering coughs and sneezing: To prevent the spread of germs, ask your student to cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or with their elbow.
