Peachjar Policy
Flyer Approval and Distribution
In the past, our school sent home loads of flyers in students’ backpacks. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we have moved from paper to a digital flyer delivery.
With our Peachjar e-flyer program, we send e-flyers directly to parents’ email inboxes, as well as posting on school websites for easy access. You can access all flyers by clicking on the Peachjar link on each school's website.
Each year, our school will save paper and reduce copy costs by hundreds of dollars. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.
School and school district-approved e-flyers keep you informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events.
Information for Parents
PVUESD uses an electronic flyer distribution program called Peachjar. Peachjar replaces paper flyers. Through Peachjar, each school can send e-flyers to its families, and outside organizations can send approved e-flyers to all families in the district. These e-flyers are also posted on each school’s website for at least one month. Look for the Peachjar link on your school’s website and app.
If you provided your email address to your school on your student’s contact information form, we have already establish a Peachjar account for you, and you should receive an email from Peachjar with your login information, so you can manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to log in to receive or view e-flyers. If you did not provide your email address and would like to receive Peachjar e-flyers, let your school office know to add your email address to the district contact form.
If you are not receiving emails from Peachjar, there are two possible reasons for this:
- Your email address is not on file with your school. Let your school office know to add your email address to the district contact form. You can also visit the Peachjar FAQs for other instructions on adding your email address to the Peachjar distribution list or resetting your password.
- The Peachjar emails are going into your spam folder, or you can't see the images in the email. To prevent the e-flyers from going into your spam folder, add “school@peachjar.com” to your email contacts. When you receive your first e-flyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
Peachjar is used exclusively for distribution of district-approved and school-approved flyers. We will not share your email address or use it for any other purpose.
Information for Outside Organizations
Our district cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials by email via Peachjar to PVUESD teachers or parents. PVUESD includes Pope Valley and the Berryessa Estates area. PVUESD does not include Napa, St. Helena (exception: some homes in Pope Valley that do have a St. Helena address), Calistoga, Angwin, Spanish Flats, Berryessa Pines, Berryessa Highlands, Capell Valley, or any other part of Napa County.
To use Peachjar, you must create an account for your organization.
To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted on the Peachjar account on the homepage of the selected school(s). PVUESD parents and students will not receive paper flyers from outside organizations.
Important: Read the PVUESD Flyer Approval Policies in the next section below.
- Create your flyer and save in PDF format.
- Visit Peachjar’s website.
- Register as an Enrichment Provider (account type).
- Upload your flyer for approval (file size must be smaller than 6 MB).
- Your flyer will automatically be submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the standards described below. Peachjar charges outside organizations a fee for this service that is typically less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
Flyer Policies for Outside Organizations
All distributed flyers must:

- Be in PDF format and smaller than 6 MB.
- Contain font sizes not less than size 12.

- Incite students to commit unlawful acts, violate school rules, or disrupt the orderly operation of the schools.
- Promote any particular political interest, candidate, party, or ballot measure, unless the candidates or advocates from all sides are provided the opportunity to present their views to the students during school hours or during events scheduled pursuant to the Civic Center Act.

- Discriminate against, attack or denigrate any group on account of gender, race, age, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability or other unlawful consideration.
- Promote the use or sale of materials or services that are illegal or inconsistent with school objectives, including, but not limited to, materials or advertisements for tobacco, intoxicants, and movies or products unsuitable for children.
- Promote commercial enterprises and products unless given prior approval of the school administration. Only products that meet educational goals will be considered.
- Solicit funds or services for an organization, with the exception of solicitations authorized in board policy.
- Do not meet the local need of students and parents.
Paper Flyers and Posters
If an organization wishes to provide paper flyers, the flyers must first be approval-stamped at the PVUESD office. The organization can then give copies of the stamped flyers to the school office, where they will be made available at or near the front counter. We will not give paper copies to teachers or staff to distribute to students for taking home.
Posters from outside organizations to be mounted for display on school grounds must first be approved and initialed by the school's administration. Posters must have a Spanish translation and meet other requirements.
